2008-09 Season 1st competition October 11th or 12th round 1 League series. Skiers to either email their entry to goldcoastwaterski@gmail.com or club members can enter their name on the clubs booking site. There is a max of 30 skiers per day. Entry cost is single club member $20 non member $40, family club member $40, non member $80. Non club members there is a one off registration fee of $30. Below is details of what is on this season. The upcoming season consists of 1. A six month series using League Handicap scoring where the top 4 tournament scores go toward the series top 10 winners. Competitions are held on the second weekend of each month from October 2008 to March 2009 2. Each month there will be a separate competition where all skiers will be divided into 3 equal divisions based on handicap and prizes will be awarded to the top place getter in each division. Should a skier finish top position two tournaments in a row then the 2 place getter in the 2nd tournament will be awarded the monthly prize. 3. Australia Day Weekend Head to Head Australian Day Weekend Sat/Sun/Mon head to head handicap. Skiers divided into two groups with half skiing Sat and half Sun. The top 50% from each day going into the head to head final on Monday. Prize $ for the top four place getters. 4. February Sunday 28th there will be a Ladies and Young Ladies Social and Fun Competition Day. 5. April 4th and 5th the club will host the Interclub challenge where club teams will compete for the League trophy. League handicap scoring will be used. 6. April 26th Gold Coast Championships Cash Prizes. The same scoring as last two years with skiers divided into groups based on handicap and top 3 place getters from each group ski in the final with prize $ for top 3 places.
